Finally

On Sunday, November 18, 2018 members of the Train Garden committee began testing the trains, the lights, the transformers, etc. Everything seems to be in working order and ready for Opening Day on Saturday, November 24, 2018.


VisitBaltimore.com Visits The Train Garden

On Saturday, November 17, 2018 a crew spearheaded by Kenny Klompus came to the Train Garden to shoot a short video. There were personnel from TBC Productions and Visit Baltimore. The Train Garden was one of the four finalists to be chosen this year. The other three were the Washington Monument lighting, 34th Street, and the German Market at the Inner Harbor. The video will be available shortly.The pictures below taken by Joe Manfre show the event.

Almost Ready For Opening Day

On Sunday, November 11, 2018 several members of the Highlandtown Train Garden committee were putting the finishing touches on the various displays. They were Terry Maillar, Scott Eggleston, Carol Hartke, Jessica Markiewicz, and Doug and Joan Campbell. Joe Manfre took the pictures. Almost Finishing The Highlandtown Display

On Tuesday, November 6, 2018 several members of the Train Garden committee worked on the Highlandtown display. Also, pictured below is the new display, not yet finished, created by Carol Hartke. The members were Terry Maillar, Jessica Markiewicz, Doug and Joan Campbell, and Joe Manfre, who took the pictures.

The Di Pasquale's Marketplace Building Is Completed

On November 4, 2018 several members of the Train Garden Committee continued to create items at the Train Garden. They were Terry Maillar, Scott Eggleston, Carol Hartke, Doug and Joan Campbell and Jessica Markiewicz. Joe Manfre took the picture. Creating A Display With A G Scale Size Train

On Sunday, October 28, 2018 Carol Hartke and Joe Manfre began building a display on the back table at the Train Garden. This display will show a G Scale size train and related items. It is now under construction. Joe Manfre took the picture.
