Work is Continuing in Several Areas
On Wednesday, August 29, 2018 Terry Maillar, George Lambillotte, and Joe Manfre continued to develop several areas of the Train Garden. In the pictures below Terry is preparing lights for the row houses, George is working on the stage display in the Amusement Rides area, and Joe glued several people on the Haussner's Restaurant Building showing how persons in the past would wait in line to enter Huassner's. Finishing Up The Patterson Park Display
On August 19, 2018 Terry Maillar, Jessica Markiewicz, Doug Campbell, and Joan Campbell have about 99% completed the Patterson Park Display. The E-Z track has been laid and the E-Z Street cars and vans are working perfectly. The pool only needs some minor adjustments and then it would be completed. Now attention can be given to the Highlandtown Display. Joe Manfre took the pictures and video.

Working on the Sport Fields in Patterson Park
On Wednesday, August 8, 2018 four members of the Train Garden committee spent their time today creating a baseball field and a soccer field in the Patterson Park display. Terry Maillar, Jessica Markiewicz, and George Lambillotte worked about 4 hours developing the fields. Joe Manfre took the pictures.

The Patterson Park Display Is Shaping Up
On Wednesday, July 25, 2018 some members of the Train Garden Committee continued to work on the Patterson Park Display. Terry Maillar, George Lambillotee, and Jessica Markiewicz worked to create a swimming pool area, a bath house, a dog park, and soon Tennis Courts and Basketball Courts. Joe Manfre took the pictures.

Work Continues on the Highlandtown and the Patterson Park Displays
On Saturday, July 21, 2018 Doug and Joan Campbell were getting the row houses ready for inserting them in the Garden. Terry Maillar was completing the Pulaski Monument display and Scott Eggleston was creating a swimming pool in Patterson Park. Also, note from the picture on the bottom right that a new building has been added. This building is a replica of the Haussner's Restaurant. Joe Manfre took the pictures below.

Working on the Patterson Park Display
On Wednesday, July 18, 2018 several Train Garden Committee members continued their work on the Patterson Park display. As can be seen by the pictures below this Patterson Park display will have new features such as a swimming pool, Pulaski monument, row houses, just to name a few. Making All the Platforms Even
On June 17, 2018 several members of the Highlandtown Train Garden Committee worked on elevating the once Christmas scene platform to match all the other platforms and deconstruct the Thomas The Tank Engine display. George is removing items from the Thomas The Tank Engine display. Carol and Jessica are removing staples to make the platform smooth. Scott is handing tools to Terry. Terry is under the garden bolting the new legs to help even out all the platforms. Joe is also helping out lifting the tables and taking the pictures.

Another Train Garden Meeting
Many members of the Train Garden Committee met on April 8 to make final plans for updating the Train Garden. After the ideas were discussed it was decided to meet on May 6 to begin the process of "deconstructing" the Train Garden so changes could be implemented and be ready to construct a new 2018-2019 Highlandtown Train Garden.

The First 2018-2019 Highlandtown Train Garden Meeting
The Train Garden volunteers below met on Saturday, March 3, 2018 to discuss ideas for the 2018-2019 Highlandtown Train Garden. Since this year will be out 10th the volunteers offered thoughts about what changes need to be done to celebrate the 10 years of the Train Garden.

Highlandtown Train Garden Volunteers Enjoy Getting Together
On Saturday, February 10, 2018 most of the Train Garden volunteers visited Vinny's Cafe for their last get together of the 2017-2018 Train Garden season. Many of them were discussing plans for the 2018-2019 Train Garden and how to celebrate the 10th season.
